Cadet Snyder
C/Battalion Commander
Cdt. Richard Snyder is a native of Northeastern Ohio. He enlisted in 2002 as a topographic analyst. His first duty station was Ft. Bragg. During his time there he was deployed twice. For the first deployment his unit was attached to HHC 82nd Airborne Division in Ar Ramadi. During this deployment Cdt. Snyder was awarded an Army Achievement medal and a Meritorious Service Medal. Cdt. Snyder’s seconded deployment was with 18th Airborne Corp to Baghdad and later Kirkuk. During this deployment he was awarded another Meritorious Service Medal as well as a Green to Gold scholarship. Currently Cdt. Snyder resides at The University of Akron where he is the Cadet Battalion Commander of the 42nd OVB.

Cadet Parrot
C/Executive Officer
Jeff Parrott is a senior at The University of Akron, and currently serves as the battalion Executive Officer. Jeff will graduate in May 09 with a BA in Political Science, and plans to serve on active duty after commissioning in the summer of 2009.

Cadet Johnson
S-3
Andrew W. Johnson currently serves as the battalion S-3. He was born and raised in Peninsula Ohio, and will graduate in December 2009 with a BS in Mechanical engineering. His active hobbies are ski and sailboat racing.

Cadet Lloyd
S-5
Cadet Alexander M. Lloyd is a Nursing major and acting battalion S-5. After commissioning, Cadet Lloyd will be serving on active duty status. In nursing, he plans to focus on trauma and acquire his Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) after the orientation phase at his first duty station. Ultimately, his goal is to obtain a Masters in Science and Nursing Degree (MSN) and become a Nurse Practitioner.

Cadet Farriss
An Akron Ohio native, cadet Farriss is an honors student in the Physics department. He hopes to branch Aviation or Military Intelligence with a branch detail in the Infantry. Farriss is a hard charger who enjoys Crossfit, martial arts, theoretical physics and mathematics, riding his sport bike, intelligent discussion, dry wit, and a good Bordeaux blend.

Cadet Glass
Cadet Recruiter
Tiffany Glass enlisted in the Army in 2002 and is now serving as the cadet recruiter for the 42nd OVB. She is also operating as one of the Platoon leaders for the 326th QM Co. Cadet Glass is a senior in the Nursing Program and will commission as part of the Army Reserve Nurse Corps. She is originally from Akron, Ohio, and enjoys music and ballroom dancing. Cadet Glass is married and has one wonderful son.
