| History is a great teacher. And history comes alive when cadets study local Civil War battles and even walk the ground where they happened. Even though the battles happened over 100 years ago, the lessons learned are still vital to success in the future. |

| There are many things to get involved with in the ROTC program. You can volunteer for community events and athletic events. They keep ROTC fun and interesting. It also makes school seem more interesting because you can do more than just go to class, you can be part of a team. |
