I participate in ROTC but I like to stay active in other activities too such as theater. ROTC has taught me good time management skills.

Stand Out From The Rest

See how interesting college can be when you're a part of Army ROTC. You'll be a college student first and foremost, just like the rest of the student body, but there's a key difference: you'll have even more opportunities to succeed.

These opportunities include Field Training Exercises (FTXs) in the spring and fall where Cadets build their teamwork and leadership skills. Cadets also participate in Physical Training (PT) on a regular basis to keep up their strength and endurance.

In addition, each battalion has its own unique calendar of events and activities.

Being part of the Crusader Battalion...

…means you’ll be in the company of a diverse group of individuals with broad interests - individuals who were presidents of their student governments, captains of their varsity sports teams, club presidents, or members of the National Honor Society.

Cadet life is challenging and fun

As a Cadet, you will have many opportunities most students could only dream of.  Whether it’s leading others in the accomplishment of a mission, firing a machine gun or jumping out of airplanes, ROTC opens the doors to unique, challenging and rewarding experiences.  And that’s just the beginning.  The leadership experience you gain through ROTC will make you a valued leader in any field or profession you choose.

ROTC Cadets are Scholars, Leaders, Warriors

As a Cadet, you are first and foremost a college student.  You attend classes like other students.  You will wear civilian clothes to the majority of your classes, and a uniform once a week.  ROTC encourages you to do well in your academic classes.  It will also provide you many opportunities to develop, practice and hone your leadership skills.  Finally, it helps to prepare you to undertake a unique opportunity, honor and responsibility: to lead American Soldiers in combat.
