LTC Michael Thomas
Professor of Military Science
Lieutenant Colonel Mike Thomas is an American Soldier who hails from a military family and claims Muncie, Indiana as his home. After graduating from High School in Northern Virginia, he entered the Army in 1984 as an enlisted member serving three years, leaving the Army as a team leader. He then attended Ball State University and graduated in 1991 receiving a commission in the Military Police Corps Regiment. Since that time, he as served in the various leadership positions expected of an Army officer.
LTC Thomas currently serves as the Professor of Military Science at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio where he is responsible for recruiting, training, retaining, developing and commissioning quality STEM, nurse and generalist students in order to provide the United States Army competent second lieutenants; leaders
Prior to arriving at Central State University, LTC Thomas served as the Chief of the Joint Force-on-Force Evaluation Branch of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. In that capacity, he acted as the Evaluation Director of the MIGHTY GUARDIAN Evaluation Program. This program is chartered to assess Department of Defense, Service and major operational command level nuclear weapon and Special Nuclear Material security policy. In addition, he was the DoD lead in support of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s recovery and recapture table top exercise program and serves as the Exercise Subcommittee Chairman for the Security Policy Verification Committee. Prior to arriving at DTRA, LTC Thomas served as the Director of Emergency Services, US Army Garrison Vicenza and the as the US Army's Southern European Task Force Provost Marshal (dual-hated). In this capacity he deployed in support of combat operations in Afghanistan (OEF VI) in 2005 and 2006. His other assignments include leadership and staff positions expected of an officer of his grade in the US Army Military Police Corps including a deployment as a battalion executive officer in support of combat operations in Iraq (OIF I) and peacetime deployments to Egypt and Panama. LTC Thomas has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, multiple campaign and service medals, the airborne qualification badge, the air assault qualification badge and the Combat Action Badge.
LTC Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology from Ball State University, a Master of Arts degree in Management from Webster University and a Master of Arts degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. He is a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College.
He and his wife and best friend, the former Kelley Weatherhead, reside in Beavercreek Township, Ohio.

MSG Jorge Rodriguez
Senior Military Science Instructor
MSG Rodriguez was born in Rio Piedras, PR. and attended Central Texas College majoring in Business Management. He enlisted in the Army in 1989 as a Cavalry Scout.
MSG Rodriguez has served in numerous positions throughout his military career including Dismounted Observer, Command Driver, Cavalry Fighting Vehicle Gunner, Squad Leader, Section Sergeant, Troop Bradley Master Gunner, Drill Sergeant, Post Modern Army Combatives Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, Observer/Controller/Trainer for Reserve and National Guardsmen, Troop First Sergeant, and Senior Military Science Instructor.
MSG Rodriguez is a graduate of the Combat Lifesaver Course, Air Assault Course, Warrior Leaders Course, Advance Leaders Course, Bradley Fighting Vehicle Master Gunner Course, Drill Sergeant School, Combatives Level 1 Course, Combatives Level 2 Course, Maneuver-Senior Leaders Course, Combatives Level 3 Course, Airborne Course, Pathfinder Course, Observer/Controller/Trainer Academy (Phase 1 & 2), Small Arms Master Gunner Course, Combatives Level 4 Course, Commander/ First Sergeant Course and the Pre Command Course.
MSG Rodriguez has deployed several times to various locations around the world and I a combat veteran of Operation Desert Shield & Desert Storm where he served as a dismounted observer for 3rd BDE Scout Platoon, 1st Infantry Division, a veteran of Operation Positive Force where he served as a command driver for the S-4 Section, 3rd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he served as a Scout/Sniper Platoon Sergeant in Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, and a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom where he served as a Cavalry Troop First Sergeant with ATTACK! Troop, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division.
His awards include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Commendation Medal with 6 Oak Leaf Clusters, The Army Achievement Medal with 10 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Good Conduct Medal with 1 Silver knot, the National Defense Service Medal with one Bronze Star, Korea Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze stars, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Development Ribbon with numeral 3, Army Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal with numeral 3, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Combat Action Badge, Pathfinder Badge, Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Driver Badge (wheel vehicle), German Schutzenschnur Badge, and the Order of Saint George Bronze Medallion.

MAJ Felisha L. Rhodes
Executive Officer (XO)
MAJ (P) Felisha L Rhodes was born in Chicago. In 1992, she received her Bachelor of Science in Food Science Nutrition and was commissioned as a Reserve Officer as a Second Lieutenant in the Specialist Corps in 1992. She also holds two Master’s Degrees in Public Health and Social Work from the University of Minnesota with an emphasis on Nutrition and Human Resource Management.
MAJ Rhodes began her military career in 1987 when she enlisted with the United States Army Reserves as a Private. Her first duty assignment was in Chicago, Illinois with the 801st General Hospital where she served as an Army Hospital Food Service Specialist. Her next assignment was with the 452nd Combat Support Hospital, as a Registered Dietitian. She has proudly served this unit since 1992, and is currently the Chief of Nutrition Care Division.
As a member of the United States Army Reserve, Major Rhodes has the opportunity to have a duel career where she is able to serve her county while maintaining a civilian career with the University of Minnesota where she is an Assistant Professor and Extension Educator. Major Rhodes provides leadership for the Nutrition Education Programs to assure appropriate and adequate nutrition education is provided to limited resource individuals and families in three Minnesota Counties. MAJ Rhodes is currently working on two certifications in sports nutrition: National Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics with the American Dietetic Association (CSSD).

MAJ Rashad J. Fulcher
Assistant Professor of Military Science (APMS)/ S-3
MAJ Rashad J Fulcher was born in Wurzburg, Germany and is a graduate of Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, FL. In 2001, he received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and was commissioned as an active duty Second Lieutenant in the Infantry.
MAJ Fulcher began his career as an Infantrymen at Fort Benning, GA where is completed Airborne, Infantry Officers Basic Course, Mechanized Leaders Course, and Ranger School. His first duty assignment was Fort Hood, TX where he served in 1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment in the 1st Cavalry Division. He served as a Bradley Platoon Leader, Motor Platoon Leader, and Company Executive Officer. In 2005, MAJ Fulcher deployed to Baghdad, Iraq where he served as a Brigade Assistant Operations Officer. He was then assigned as the Brigade movement officer responsible for moving an entire Brigade Combat Teams worth of equipment from Iraq back to Fort Hood, TX.
MAJ Fulcher concluded his assignment at Fort Hood in 2005 and transitioned back to Fort Benning, GA to attend the Infantry Captains Career Course. Upon completion, he was assigned to 1st Battalion 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, KS. He served as the Battalion Logistical Officer followed by Military Transition Team Training Company Commander. As a MiTT Trainer, MAJ Fulcher was responsible for preparing MiTT members on their new roles as Combat Advisors. He was then assigned as a Bradley Company Commander in 1st Battalion, 41st Infantry, 1st Armored Division at Fort Riley, KS. He was instrumental in taking a company of 40 Soldiers to creating a Bradley Company capable of accomplishing any mission. The battalion transitioned from 1-41 IN to 1st Battalion 18th Infantry where MAJ Fulcher took command of the Rear Detachment while the battalion deployed to Iraq.
MAJ Fulcher’s awards and decorations are the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantryman’s badge, Ranger Tab, the Parachutist Badge, and the Germany Military Proficiency Badge.
MAJ Fulcher is married to the Former Amy Wright of Farmington, ME and has one son Riley and one Daughter Autumn.

SFC Rahshaan Q. Greene
Training NCO/Assistant S-3
SFC Greene enlisted into the Army November, 21 1990 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Basic Combat Training at C Battery 1st Battalion 79th Field Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He then attended 13F, Fire Support training at B Battery 5th Training Battalion, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
SFC Greene has held a variety of duty positions to include Fire Support Specialist, Company Fire Support Sergeant, Battalion Fire Support Sergeant, Brigade Fire Support Sergeant, 101st ABN Division Fire Support Sergeant, III Corp Fire Support Sergeant, and has been deployed numerous of times with the 101st Infantry Division (Assault), 3rd Infantry Division, and the 10th Mountain Infantry Division, and 214th Fires Brigade.
SFC Greene units of assignment include 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Headquarters Headquarters Battery 1st Battalion 320th Field Artillery, Panama; Headquarters Headquarters Battery 1st Battalion 320th Field Artillery, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Headquarters Headquarters Battery 2ID Divarty, Camp Stanley, Korea; Headquarters Headquarters Service 1st Battalion 38th Field Artillery, Camp Stanley Korea; III Corp Artillery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; 231st Target Acquisition Detachment, Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Headquarters Headquarters Battery 214th Fires Brigade, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
His awards include the Bronze Star Medal 2nd Award), Army Commendation Medal (3rd Award), Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Bronze Star), Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Overseas Ribbon (2nd Award), Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge, Driver’s Badge, and a recipient of the prestigious Saint Barbara Award.
SFC Greene is a Graduate of the Warrior Leaders Course, Basic Non Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non Commissioned Officers Course, Command Post of the Future Course, Joint Development of Common Standards Course, Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System Course, Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, Jungle Warfare School, Ranger Indoctrination Program, Combat Lifesavers Course, and Air Assault Course. He is pursuing a degree in Business from Central State University.
SFC Greene currently resides in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Buffy and daughters Candice and LaShondra.

LTC Lecaros received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois At Chicago in 1986 and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the governor’s State University at University Park, IL in 1995.
LTC Lecaros has attended the Transportation Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, and the Command and General Staff College.
