LTC Paul Jackson

Professor of Military Science

LTC Paul T. Jackson was born in Port Jefferson, NY and is a 1994 graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Upon graduation he received a commission as a second lieutenant through the ROTC program at Hofstra University. Upon completion of the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, LTC Jackson was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 6th Field Artillery, 1st Infantry Division in Bamberg, Germany where he served as Fire Direction Officer, Platoon Leader, and Battery Executive Officer during Operation Joint Endeavor in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Division Fire Control Officer. After attending the Armor Officer Advanced Course, LTC Jackson served with the 82d Airborne Division Artillery in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina where he was the 1-325 AIR Fire Support Officer during Operation Guardian Shield in Kosovo and Battery Commander of A/2-319 AFAR during Operation Iraqi Freedom. LTC Jackson later served at U.S. Pacific Command in Camp Smith, HI as an Emergency Actions Officer and Chief of Emergency Procedures and Training. LTC Jackson graduated from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 2007 while also earning a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. He was subsequently assigned to the 210th Fires Brigade in Camp Casey, Korea where he served as a Brigade Assistant S3, Battalion S3 and Brigade Executive Officer.

LTC Jackson's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Air Force Combat Readiness Medal, the Senior Parachutist Badge, the Combat Action Badge and the Venezuelan Parachutist Badge.

LTC Jackson is married to the former Sara Jane Castro of Pearl City, HI. They have one son, Patrick who arrived in March 2010.








Dana Reeder

Recruiting Operations Officer

Dana Reeder was born in New Haven, Connecticut and earned her ROTC commission in 2003. Her military assignments began with Company Executive Officer for 47th Combat Support Hospital at Fort Lewis, Washington, a newly formed 84 bed Corps level hospital maintaining 10 million dollars worth of equipment. She served in Mosul, Iraq, as the principle advisor to the commander on all aspects of nuclear, biological and chemical matters, as well as served as the Public Affairs Officer and Flight Coordinator for 2-8 Field Artillery Battalion, 1st Stryker Brigade Support Team, 25th Infantry Division. Upon redeployment, she transferred to the Financial Management Corps and was the Support Operations Officer for 9th Finance Battalion at Fort Lewis, providing over 1 billion dollars in military pay and disbursing support to 27,000 active duty and 1,200 Reserve Soldiers in I Corps throughout 30 states. CPT Reeder's final active duty assignment was with 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division where she was in charge of manifesting over 3,200 Soldiers deploying to Iraq. Additionally, as the unit's finance officer, she enabled the unit to recoup over 300,000 dollars by turning in outdated equipment to the installation.

Reeder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bryant College, Rhode Island and attended graduate school at Saint Martin University, Washington and Webster College, South Carolina. Her military education includes Chemical Officer Basic Course, Security Management Course, US Air Force Airlift Planners Course, Unit Movement Officers Course, Commanders Safety Course, and Financial Management Captains Career Course.

Reeder's military decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, German Efficiency Badge and Combat Action Badge.

Reeder is married to Benjamin Reeder of Fort Wayne, Indiana. They have a 3-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter.








CPT Alexi Franklin

CPT Franklin enlisted in the Army Reserves on November 17th, 2001 and was commissioned into the regular Army on May 28th, 2005. His assignments include health care specialist, 48th Combat Support Hospital, US Army Reserve; Platoon Leader, Assistant S-4, and Administrative and Logistics Operations Center Officer-in-Charge, 2nd Battalion, 503d Infantry (ABN), 173d ABCT; Executive Officer, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 173d Airborne Brigade Combat Team; S-4, Special Troops Battalion, 58th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Maryland Army National Guard; Assisant S-3, Joint Task Force - Bravo, Soto Cano AB, Honduras; and Assistant S-4, Special Operations Detachment - Joint Forces, Maryland Army National Guard.

CPT Franklin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master of Arts degree in Government, both from The Johns Hopkins University. His military education includes Basic Combat Training, Health Care Specialist Advanced Individual Training, US Army Airborne School, Infantry Officer's Basic Course, US Army Combatives Levels I II, US Army Ranger School, The Sabaluski Air Assault School, the ROTC Instructor's Training Course, and the Maneuver Captain's Career Course.

CPT Franklin's military decorations include the Army Commendation Meal with oak leaf cluster, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Expert Infantryman Badge, and Combat Infantryman Badge.

SFC David Rosendale

S-3 Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge, Sophomore Class Instructor

Sergeant First Class (SFC) Rosendale enlisted the Army in 1984, from Essex MD. He attended Basic and AIT at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. SFC Rosendale currently holds Combat Engineer, Infantryman, U.S. Army Recruiting Non-commissioned Officer, National Guard Recruiting and Retention Non-commissioned Officer, Psychological Operations Non-commissioned Officer, and Senior Non-commissioned Logistician military occupational specialties. He also holds Special Skill Certifications as a Parachutist, Instructor and as a Special Operations Support Specialist.

SFC Rosendale has been assigned to 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion; 1st Combat Engineer Battalion (Mech); 121st Combat Engineer Battalion (Corp); 2nd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne); 312th Psychological Operations Company; Baltimore Recruiting Battalion; Maryland Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion; and Special Operations Detachment - Joint Forces, MDARNG.

SFC Rosendale has deployed to Joint Special Operations Command, Ft. Bragg, NC, in 2005 and to Joint Special Operations Task Force, Balad, Iraq, from 2005 to 2006 where he served as a Transportation Non-Commissioned Officer. From 2007 through 2009, SFC Rosendale mobilized to assist in the creation of the Army's newest Special operation Command, Special Operations Command Africa, located in Stuttgart, Germany. While there, SFC Rosendale served in multiple senior non-commissioned officer logistician positions. He is a plank owner - Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAFRICA)

SFC Rosendale's military education includes PLDC, BNCOC, ANCOC, Sapper Leader Course, Airborne Course, U. S. Army Recruiting School, Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Course.

SFC Rosendale has been awarded the Bronze Star, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation medal (2nd Oak leaf Cluster), the Army Achievement Medal (4th Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal (w/ Bronze Star), the Iraq Campaign Medal ( w/ 3 Bronze Stars), the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal (w/ Silver Hour Glass Device, "M" Device and "2" Device), the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (w "3" device), the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd Award) and the Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon.

SFC Rosendale married to Chantal Fogarty, (Captain, Maryland Army National Guard) and is the father of one son, Chase (12).

MSG(R) Tonny Harris

Retired Army Master Sergeant Tonny D. Harris has been affiliated with the U.S. Army for the past 33 years. He has spent time in the D.C. National Guard and served 20 years on active duty. He was a contracted Army instructor and is now a DA civilian. He is a subject matter expert in the field of logistical training and Combat Service Support Operations. Some of his assignments include battalion S4 NCOIC, 1SG of an AIT unit, senior training developer, and logistics instructor at Penn State University just to name a few. He is presently the supply technician for the Green Terror Battalion and is also serving as the Military History Instructor for the ROTC program.








CPO(R) Michael McReal

Having served just short of 21 years in the Navy, Mr. McReal transferred to the fleet reserve in June of 1998. Navy tours of duty include Naval School of Diving and Salvage from March to July 1978; USS Hunley (AS-31) August 1978 to August 1981; Naval Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility Bremerton August 1981 to September 1982; Trident Refit Facility October 1982 to January 1985; Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center Panama City FL, January to May 1985; USS Edenton (ATS-1) from June 1985 to June 1987; Naval School of Deep Diving Systems, Charleston, SC from July to October 1987; USS Pigeon (ASR-21) from November 1987 to August 1990; Naval Medical Research Institute Bethesda, MD August 1990 to August 1993; Commander Submarine Development Group 1 NSDDS San Diego, CA August 1993 to November 1994; Naval Medical Research Institute Bethesda, MD December 1994 to June 1998. Post military service, Mr. McReal worked in the financial services industry. Subsequently, he attended Frederick Community College and finally received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business with concentrated class work in finance from Mount St. Mary's University in 2006. Mr. McReal was hired in October 2006 by the Green Terror Battalion ROTC as the MSMU administrative representative. Additionally, he serves as the MSMU Assistant Men's golf coach. Mr. McReal resides in Frederick County and is married to Marianna Nave McReal.
