Stand Out From The Rest
See how interesting college can be when you're a part of Army ROTC. You'll be
a college student first and foremost, just like the rest of the student body,
but there's a key difference: you'll have even more opportunities to succeed.
These opportunities include Field Training Exercises (FTXs) in the spring and
fall where Cadets build their teamwork and leadership skills. Cadets also
participate in Physical Training (PT) on a regular basis to keep up their
strength and endurance.
In addition, each battalion has its own unique calendar of events and activities.

 Bobcat Battalion
The Ohio University Bobcat Battalion
stands in a class of its own when compared to the Bold Warrior Brigade.
OU exceeds the standards in physical fitness, garrison operations, and tactical
operations because of the dedicated cadre and accomplished MS IVs. The
current MS IIIs, MS IIs, and MS Is are above standard. Above all, as one
unit, our hunger to be future US Army Officers is vastly superior to other
Battalions. Lacey L. – Mentor, OH.

Ranger Challenge
Ranger Challenge provides an opportunity
for Army ROTC cadets to compete in an inter-collegiate competition. You
will get in the best shape of your life, learn advance military skills, and
make close friends. This training will apply toward many of your future
cadet training opportunities and officer skills. Eric F. – Winchester,
OH

Color Guard
Color Guard is a great way to interact
with every athletic program on campus. Color Guard is also a great way to
learn Drill and Ceremony with your peers. Robert G. – Wickliffe,
OH

Red Leg Society
The Red Leg Society is a fun and exciting
way to support OU Football. You are on the corner of the field while
performing the duties of a Civil War cannon crew member. Todd K. – Avon
Lake, OH
