Cadet Brent Lanier
Cadet Commander
Major: Political Science
Hometown: Katy, TX
Texas A&M has produced Army officers for over 130 years. To be a part of that Aggie family of soldiers, past, present, and future, is an opportunity I could not pass up. Army ROTC will not only develop you as a cadet, but will instill in your values that will strengthen your leadership for both life and the Army.

Cadet Amanda Hendrick
Warrior Training Battalion Commander
Major – Anthropology/Kinesiology
Hometown – Honolulu, HI
Having grown up in a military family, I knew at a young age I wanted to serve in the military. ROTC has given me the opportunity to grow, the courage to make hard decisions, and the confidence to stand alone. Thinking about the people I’ve met along the way, all the obstacles I have had to overcome to be here, makes the end result worth it. I chose a life of service and ROTC paved my way.

Cadet Erik Ebanks

A strong sense of patriotism fueled my interest in Army ROTC. It has helped reinforce my character and has strengthened my professionalism. Through working with other cadets, I have honed my leadership skills and have been able to apply those skills to every aspect of my college life. Above all, Army ROTC has instilled a confidence in me that will take me far in the private sector and the Army.

Cadet Justin Smith
Sandhurst Challenge Commander
Major - Political Science
Hometown – Katy, TX
I joined Army ROTC at Texas A&M University because it looked like a good way for me to discover what kind of leadership qualities I had and how I would react in stressful situations.

Cadet Paul Wyatt
Pathfinder Commander
Major – Political Science
Hometown – Katy, TX
I joined Army ROTC because I knew that it is the branch that could best help me achieve my life goals in the public sector. I believe that nowhere else on campus, or the United States, could prepare me and forge me into the leader that I am today. Without Army ROTC I would not be where I am now, nor would I be the leader that I am today.
