LTC Jason Cummins
Professor of Military Science (PMS)

Lieutenant Colonel Jason Cummins was born in Owensboro, KY. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and proceeded to Fort Rucker, AL for the Aviation Officer's Basic Course and flight training. After graduation from flight school as an AH-64A pilot, he reported to Fort Campbell, KY and was assigned to 2-101 Aviation Regiment. There he served as both an attack and scout platoon leader, Liaison Officer to 3rd Infantry Brigade (Rakkasan), Assistant S3 Operations Officer, and the Battalion S1.
Upon graduation from the Armor Officer Advanced Course at Fort Knox, KY in September 1998, he was assigned to 3rd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Brigade at Camp Humphreys, Korea. While in Korea, he commanded Alpha Troop and served as the Chief Plans Officer for 6th Cavalry Brigade.
After returning from Korea, Lieutenant Colonel Cummins attended the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business where he obtained his MBA in Finance and Public Policy. Upon graduation, he served two years in the United States Military Academy's Department of Social Sciences as an Associate Professor of Economics.
Upon completing the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth in June 2005, Lieutenant Colonel Cummins returned to Fort Campbell, and the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB). He immediately deployed with the unit to Iraq (OIF IV), where he served as the Battalion Operations Officer for 1st Battalion, (Expect No Mercy), 101st CAB at Contingency Operating Base Speicher (Tikrit). After redeployment to Fort Campbell, he moved to the Battalion Executive Officer position, where he supervised the unit's reset of of personnel and equipment and prepared the unit for its next deployment. In December 2007, he deployed to Afghanistan (OEF IX) as the Brigade Executive Officer for 101st Combat Aviation Brigade (Task Force Destiny), a unit comprised of four multi-functional aviation battalion task forces, an aviation support battalion, a military intelligence battalion task force, and an unmanned aerial system company.
Lieutenant Colonel Cummins is married to the former Shannon Anderson, and they have two sons, Jax (5) and Colt (2).

LTC Bradley Harrington
Enrollment & Scholarship Officer

LTC Harrington graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Defense and Strategic Studies from Southwest Missouri State University.
LTC Harrington was commissioned an Adjutant General's Corps Officer and is a graduate of the Adjutant General's Corps Officers Basic and Advanced Courses as well as the U.S. Army Combined Arms and Services Staff School and Command and General Staff College.
LTC Harrington joined the faculty of the University of Kentucky as the Enrollment & Scholarship Officer in 2003.

MAJ Kris Morlen

MAJ Morlen graduated from Indiana University Southeast with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. After serving in the enlisted ranks for 11 years, he was commissioned as a Chemical Corps Officer in 2000. He is a graduate of Airborne School, Chemical Officer Basic Course, Chemical Captains Career Course, Information Operations Course, Military Intelligence Officer Tactician Course, and is currently enrolled in Command and General Staff College. He is a 23 year veteran, having served in the Active Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard. MAJ Morlen has been a member of the Active Guard Reserve Program with the Kentucky Army National Guard since 1995, and has deployed in support of Operation Joint Forge (2002-03) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (2005-06).
MAJ Morlen joined the faculty of the University of Kentucky in July 2009 as an Assistant Professor of Military Science

CPT Joseph Orr

Captain Joey Orr hails from Elizabethtown, KY. He attended the University of Kentucky where he was commissioned in Armor in 2003. Captain Orr served with the 1st Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Carson, Colorado as a Platoon Leader in Apache Troop for twenty-eight months. During his tenure with "Tiger Squadron", he deployed to OIF III with his tank platoon in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He was then stationed at Fort Knox, KY where he served with the 1st Squadron, 16th Cavalry Regiment as the Squadron Adjutant for thirteen months. In July of 2007, he took command of RHHT, 16th Cavalry Regiment where he remained in command for eighteen months. Currently Captain Orr is the Operations Officer with the University of Kentucky's Army ROTC.
Captain Orr's awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with oak leaf cluster, the National Defense Service Medal, the Iraqi Campaign Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Combat Action Badge, the Pathfinder Badge, the Parachutist Badge and the Air Assault Badge.
Captain Orr has graduated the Maneuver Captain Career Course, the Armor Officers Basic Course, the Scout Leaders Course, Pathfinder School, Airborne School and Air Assault School.

SFC Michael Hubbard

Sergeant First Class Hubbard is a Combat Engineer.
SFC Hubbard joined the University of Kentucky Faculty Fall Semester 2008 as Military Science Instructor and Battalion Operations Sergeant. He is a native of Mississippi. SFC Hubbard entered the Army and completed training as an Engineer at Ft Leonardwood, MO. He has completed the Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course, Warrior Leader Course, Equal Opportunity Course, Retentions Course, Combat Lifesaver Course, Nuclear Biological Chemical Course, and National Observer/Controller Course, Airborne School and Air Assault School.
He has participated in five major deployments. Desert Storm / Desert Shield, Bosnia, Operation Iraqi Freedom I / II and Operation Enduring Freedom.

MSG Jason A. Skinner
Senior Military Instructor (SMI)

Master Sergeant Skinner is a native of Rochester, Indiana and enlisted in the Army as an Armor Crewman in September 1993. He has performed duties as a Tank Loader, Tank Driver, Tank Gunner, Tank Commander, Platoon Sergeant, Operations Sergeant and First Sergeant.
He has been stationed in Vilseck Germany, Fort Irwin California, Fort Knox Kentucky and Fort Riley Kansas. He has been deployed to the Republic of Macedonia and twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He is a graduate of the First Sergeant Course, Senior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Warrior Leader Course, Drill Sergeant School and Master Fitness Trainer Course.
Master Sergeant Skinner joined the University of Kentucky "Wildcat Battalion" Spring Semester 2010.
