Teaching The Leaders Of Tomorrow

The University of Maryland Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program, trains students to be 2nd Lieutenants in the United States Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard.  Read more about our scholarships or what type of careers we offer.



Battalion History

The Terrapin Battalion has been absent from the University of Maryland since 1949, and returned in 2001; since then the program has grown in size.  Each cadet has taken their time to put their mark on how successful the program will be.
